Epic Couple’s Session in Seattle || Eugenia + Anton

The first time I saw Suzzallo library, it reminded me so much of Hogwarts from Harry Porter. Unfortunately, it was not actually filmed there but the resemblance is uncanny. But in that instance, I knew I wanted to do my next epic engagement session in Seattle there. A few months later, we had models lined up, gorgeous dresses from Samila boutique in Seattle, planned everything, but when the day came the library was closed! I was so sad as I didn’t know when else I would have the opportunity to photograph there. But, as they say, “ask and it will be given to you!
During my next trip to Seattle to photograph my weddings, I had a couple of days open and I knew this was it – the day we could organize a shoot. The first person that came to mind was Eugenia, a gorgeous young lady who is not only a professional model but also an extremely talented make-up artist. Her husband of over 15 years, with a chiseled jawline and model-looking features, was the perfect match for Eugenia and agreed to be a part of our shoot.
The time was of the essence – the library was closing at 7 pm, but the couple could not arrive until 6 pm. The dress was by talented Olga Szwed, a completely beaded dress with rhinestones that was tightly hugging Eugenia’s body. It was so tight that Eugenia could only stand still in the dress and any movement was not possible. That limited our posing options, and with time-constraint, I knew this was a good challenge for me to overcome. My husband agreed to be my lighting assistant and off we went.
Even with all those challenges, I think the session was a complete success and the results speak for themselves.
We want to thank everyone who made this EPIC photoshoot possible!
