Project Description

Snoqualmie Falls Forest Theatre

May, 2017. “Hello! I’m getting married on September 16th in North Bend at the Snoqualmie Falls Forest Theater. Is there any chance you are available on this day? I know it’s very short notice and I still need to show your portfolio to my fiance, but I absolutely loved your online portfolio so I thought I’d reach out and find out if there was any chance you’d even be available first.” – this was Jenn’s very first email to me. Luckily I was available that day, and shortly after this email, Jenn+Peter booked their wedding. I have never been to their venue before, but from their description it sounded very woodsy, exactly what the couple wanted – woodsy and private.

They met when both were involved with theater so it was serendipitous when this venue was available. Note, that venues get booked up at least a year or two in advance in and around Seattle area.

He was her soulmate, and she was his – during our meetings I would catch Peter quietly glancing at his fiancé with such deep love, it was obvious they were meant to be together. Every time I think of Jenn, I hear her laugh, the laugh of a person on seventh cloud. She was so easy going and excited to spend the rest of her life with Peter!

Their wedding was casual, just like they wanted – guest tables had different table games (what Jenn+Peter love doing during their free time), outside were bocce ball and corn hole games ready for guests. Their reception site was beautifully decorated in in twinkle lights. There was tons of dancing, mingling, playing, and just having a great time. Later in the evening, Peter even did his special dance for Jenn. At the end, Jenn+Peter exited the reception with their friends holding sparklers and cheering for their new life adventure.

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Spicer! May your life together always be filled with light from twinkles and sparklers, and with love in your hearts for each other!
