Dayna+Drew, the sweetest and fun couple, met each other – their better half – in winter of 2014. And when the time came to decide when to celebrate their eternal love for each other and tie the knot, they both agreed – it had to be in winter, December of 2016.
As Dayna+Drew knew they wanted a rustic wedding with a unique twist, choosing Red Cedar Farm was a no-brainer. In addition to a big barn, farm animals, beautiful and elegant scenery, and a fire pit, this hidden gem in a little northwest town of Poulsbo, had something that one may not find often: antique yet fully functional arcade room, a unique wall made out of original Coke bottles, a counter stand lined with license plates, and number of antique tools and signs that made me want to throw my own party there.
To make her Big Day extra special, for months before the wedding Dayna was designing amazing handmade decorations, centerpieces, favor bags, guest-board, and even Bride and Groom drinking glasses by hand.
Dayna+Drew’s daughters officially became sisters forever on this day, but long before that they were already friends. Having girls take an active part during the wedding was extremely important to Dayna+Drew. During the ceremony no dry eye was left, including me, when Dayna+Drew gave their vows one at a time to each one of the girls. The ceremony was concluded by sand unity by all four of them. It was an absolutely beautiful moment in their new family. And during Reception First dance was followed by Dance with girls when all four circled together holding hands.
Everyone, big or small was enjoying the newlyweds most special day: craft table for little ones, arcade for teens, cigars by fire pit for guys, and plenty of food and dancing for all. To add to all of the fun, a night session under holiday lights outside served a perfect ending to a great beginning of Dayna+Drew’s Happily-Ever-After!!!
Congratulations, Dayna+Drew! May Love and Happiness always follow your family!
