St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church Pensacola Wedding || Kerri + Cody
Kerri+Cody met through a mutual friend and they’ve been inseparable since. In late 2017 Cody popped the question when Kerri thought they were just going to a restaurant. The two went on a walk and when she turned around Cody was on one knee. He asked her to marry him and she said YES! The rest, as they say, is history.
For their wedding venue, Kerri+Cody chose St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church. This place is very sentimental and means a lot to both the Bride and Groom’s families. The Bride’s grandpa’s ashes were spread in the Memorial Garden of the church and the Groom’s family has been attending it for many years.
Their wedding colors are a classy combination of taupe and navy blue. For wedding favors, they had custom-made navy blue koozies with the couple’s names and their wedding date. The Bride and Groom’s wedding party and families made sure that the couple was thoroughly enjoying their day and kept their worries to a minimum. As a Thank You, all bridesmaids received a gorgeous custom swag bag with all sorts of goodies inside. Cody handmade wooden boxes for each one of his groomsmen, inside of which there were socks with their favorite football team and the coolest bull horn beer mugs.
When the reception started Cody surprised his Bride with a honeymoon trip to the Dominican Republic the next morning. Her friends and families were all on board and helped out to pull off this awesome wedding surprise. There was a lot of dancing, laughing, drinking, mingling, cigar smoking and a beautiful sparklers exit. Guests even enjoyed running around the couple with the sparklers after the exit.
What a day to remember and what a great beginning of their married life together. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Cobb! May your married life always be filled with love, happiness, and unforgettable memories together!
