Before we get into the details of Heather+Daniel's timeless Downtown Pensacola wedding, they met each other in October of 2016 in Pensacola, Florida. After exchanging messages and getting to know each other for a few months, the pair formally got together in January of 2017 and the rest was history.
Fast forward to July of 2020, Daniel proposed to Heather on a dolphin sightseeing cruise at Portofino Island Resort while on a family vacation. As Heather+Daniel and I got to know each other during our wedding consultation, he commented that he wanted Heather's family to be present when he popped the big question. It was also quite funny when Heather recounted on how she was was excited after seeing some dolphins splashing around.
When she turned around, she was presented with her family members recording and to her surprise, it was not for the dolphins, but for her. Daniel was down on one knee right beside her and it hit her: she was being proposed to! Props to Daniel for successfully keeping the proposal a secret and fully surprising Heather!
Coming back to present day, October 16th, 2021, our team arrived at beautiful historic Downtown Pensacola to commence Heather+Daniel's wedding coverage. We got right to work with Heather+Daniel's first look as well bride and groom solo portraits throughout Downtown Pensacola. It quickly got very hot so we dashed into Seville Quarter for some highly-needed AC. We also used the location to our advantage and created some stunning images (one of them is actually the featured image of this blog)!
As always, our pre-wedding coverage came to a rapid end and Heather+Daniel's ceremony began at Palafox Wharf. Soon after the ceremony, we got back to work with the newly wedded Mr. and Mrs. Proto on their second bride and groom solo session during which we captured some more epic moments.
Heather+Daniel's wedding reception came at full-force and before we knew it everyone was dancing, partying, and enjoying themselves at this adult-only celebration. After the lively reception, Heather+Daniel embarked on a grand exit that consisted of endless bubbles!
