Classic Red and White Wedding || Kimberly+David
Before we delve into Kimberly+David’s recent gorgeous classic red and white wedding details, allow us to share their Love Story that the couple kindly shared with us.
Kimberly+David Love Story
We met almost 10 years ago when I started my career at Navy Federal. Even though we knew each other, we didn’t realize what we had until many years later. We were both in relationships and both got married only to divorce very shortly thereafter. We soon realized how much we had in common and became inseparable. It seemed like a foregone conclusion very early in our relationship that we would move in together, merge our households and get married (together we had five cats, two dogs, and fish)!
We love to travel whenever we can. On Friday, March 2nd, 2018, I came home from work and was completely exhausted after a very long week. David was very excited but he was obviously up to something. He went and got our luggage and put it in front of me and said “Pack clothes for a weekend, we are going to New Orleans in the morning!” I thought it was a great spontaneous trip, but I had no idea that it wasn’t spontaneous at all and David had been working on this weekend for a long time. When we checked in to our room on Saturday afternoon, there was a surprise in the room and the next thing I knew David was on one knee!
Our year-long engagement went very quick. Our wedding was a fantastic event and we worked with many great vendors who ensured that the day went off without a hitch. It really was a perfect day!
We met Kimberly+David at the Brides Night in November 2018 and right then we knew we would be perfect working together. They wanted a classy wedding filled with red roses, and for their wedding venue, the couple chose Rails on Wright Street which offered a beautiful look of the downtown yet was secluded enough from the street noise. And, as it was conveniently located right next to Pensacola Grand Hotel, Kimberly+David made a smart move by choosing Grand Hotel to get ready for their Big Day. We love photographing at the Grand Hotel filled with many beautiful spots perfect for our kind of photos.
The suite the couple chose to stay in was the only one that had a winding staircase to the bedroom upstairs, a very unique setting for a historic hotel. Kimberly wore a stunning dress by Simply Elegant, a bridal salon in downtown Pensacola, red Badgley Mischka high heels, and accessorized her outfit with gifts from David, a Mikimoto pearl set and David Yurman bracelet. Hayley and Tonya with the Powder Room made sure the bride’s hair and make-up were impeccable on her wedding day. Kimberly looked stunning and was ready for David to see her during the 1st Look at the lobby.
After the 1st look, we completed our indoor session with a few photos at the Cava Bar, located inside the hotel, and headed to Palafox Pier for a quick session of the bride and groom by the water. Fiore of Pensacola skillfully executed the vision of the couple for the ceremony – an oval arch covered in red roses and white flowers from top to bottom. They also took care of the couple’s all floral needs – table centerpieces, bridal bouquet, corsages and boutonnieres. Matt with Powell Entertainment, who is also the owner of the venue, enured the venue had enough romantic lighting and everyone was having a blast. Even the Mother Nature was celebrating Kimberly+David’s wedding by granting them the most perfect weather and an epic sunset. An avid NY Giants fan, David got a groom’s cake dedicated to his favorite team, and Kimberly got a classic white cake monogrammed with their last name initial. Both were done by Betty Weber.
Lots of dancing, open bar, laughter, mingling and a fun grand exit with sparklers – Kimberly+David’s was truly perfect – a perfect beginning to the Napolitano’s Happily Ever After! Congratulations to the newlyweds. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness and love!
